Privacy Policy

Membrain is a personal assistant that works over WhatsApp and Telegram. This policy explains what we store and why.

What we collect

• Account identifiers — your WhatsApp or Telegram user ID, phone number, and display name, used to route messages to you.
• Message content — the texts you send, transcriptions of your voice notes, and text extracted from photos you share, used to carry out your requests.
• Your saved data — reminders, lists, tasks, and preferences you create. Content is encrypted at rest.
• Google Calendar events — only if you connect your calendar, read-only, to power event reminders. Disconnect anytime with /disconnectcalendar.
• Payment metadata — order and transaction references from our payment gateway (SSLCommerz). We never see or store your card details.

How it is processed

Messages are processed by AI providers (language models, speech-to-text, and image reading) solely to respond to you. Data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Data deletion

To delete your account and all associated data (messages, reminders, lists, calendar connections), email ascendai00@gmail.com from any address, stating the phone number you use with Membrain. Deletion completes within 30 days. Disconnecting your Google Calendar (/disconnectcalendar) removes calendar access immediately.
